With its walkable streets, rich history, and welcoming atmosphere, Downtown Bellefontaine exemplifies successful small-town revitalization.

RAINBOW ROAD
Rainbow Row Bellefontaine, a group of five brick buildings and seven loft apartments, draws inspiration from Charleston, South Carolina’s iconic Rainbow Row – 13 brightly painted 18th-century homes near the harbor. Purchased by Small Nation in August 2021, the building is one of the oldest in Downtown Bellefontaine, with the westernmost portion dating back to before 1864.
Designed with a small-town Ohio footprint, the structure includes five flexible street-level retail spaces and seven efficiency units above, intended for short-term rentals. “Charleston’s personality will be honored right here in Downtown Bellefontaine,” said Jason Duff, Founder and CEO of Small Nation.
